FRAME has achieved the Green Dragon level 2 and PAS 402 environmental awards in recognition of its work
towards protecting the environment.
We live in a throw away
society, to help reduce waste we all need to maximise
re-use wherever possible. Reduce
- Re-use - Recycle
FRAME aims to prolong the life of household items such as:
bric-a-brac and books,
clothing, bedding and curtains,
doors, carpets and flooring.
In fact anything that has life left in it that is associated with homes.
FRAME asks for a donation to the chairty on all household items recieved for re-use.
The donation requested takes into consideration the cost of running the charity and providing training and support to those with disabilities.
FRAME needs to attempt to be financially self sufficient to ensure that our services
will remain available to the county in the future. FRAME usually bids for grant funding to support capital purchases and seed funding for new projects.
Re-useable furniture is available to everyone at FRAME's 3 furniture stores.
FRAME assists in the alleviation of poverty and deprivation in Pembrokeshire
by offering discounted pre-used furniture to individuals and families in need.
FRAME provides furniture and household goods free of charge to people in crisis who are referred by recognised statutory agencies.
