FRAME is based on a very simple idea, the organisation motivates people.
Out of that motivation comes an essential ingredient in improving peoples lives, self-help. Whether in sheltered or open employment FRAME provides a daily structure, a valued social role, increased self esteem and self confidence.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer at FRAME. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please contact Carol Burton from Keysteps on 01437 763204.

Alternatively, if you have or are recovering from mental ill health or have a learning difficulty then you can be referred to FRAME by Pembrokshire COAST, Health Care Professional's, Social Services or GP's.

Arrangements will then be made for you to visit FRAME. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

Fill in an application form and return it. You will then be contacted to come and meet a member of the Keysteps team.  Keysteps can set you on the road to volunteering with the charity.

The workshop technician offers training and guidance in the repair and renovation of donated furniture as well as assistance in making items from re-used wood and the safe use of the wide range of workshop machinery. All work in the workshop is supervised by PUWER accredited staff who can provide accreditation up to unsupervised level.

The machinery available in the workshop ranges from portable electrical tools such as sanders and drills to industrial grade planers, circular saw, bandsaw, router table and wood turning lathe. Accredited training courses are provided to everyone wishing to assist in this area.

 
Regular meetings will be held with Keysteps to ensure you are  enjoying your time at FRAME  and getting the most out of your volunteer placement.
