Welcome to E-Quip-U, our directory of other mobility equipment providers in Pembrokeshire. If we don’t have the equipment you require, you may find it here.
There are three ways to get hold of mobility equipment: from a business, from a charity, or from a government organisation including Social Services.
This directory will highlight whether the equipment is loaned, hired, or sold.
PIPPA is not responsible for the content of external websites and cannot guarantee the availability of the equipment listed by other parties.

A note on long term hire
If you need to hire equipment for the long term, we will do our best to help and there may be discretionary discounts available. However, it can still get expensive, so we recommend finding out if you are entitled to free equipment.
To get free equipment you will usually need an assessment by Social Services. You can find out more about the assessments and services provided by the Council at the following pages:
-
Disability Living Foundation (nationwide – see National Charities)
Once you have had an assessment, you are eligible to receive equipment from SHAPES and the Paul Sartori Foundation.
SHAPES stands for Social Health Alliance Pembrokeshire Equipment Service. It is run by the NHS, Social Services, and the voluntary sector. You need an assessment to qualify for equipment from Shapes and also usually for the Paul Sartori Foundation. This can be done in hospital if you are there, and otherwise you will be visited by a professional at home. If you think you need an assessment, please contact the Council or the district nurse at your GP surgery.
