Join Pembrokeshire Frame
When you become a participant at Pembrokeshire FRAME you will be supported in a real working environment. You’ll learn to create, grow, make, sell or transform things and become a valued member of a social enterprise.
You’ll make friends in a space where your ideas are listened to and understood.
You’ll also have the support of staff and volunteers to help your ideas become reality.
We have lots of projects to choose from, take a look below.
All of our projects are currently located either at Merlin’s Bridge or Pembroke Dock.
If you would like to join any of these projects please call Carol Burton on 01437 769 755 or complete and return the referral form below.
At Pembrokeshire FRAME we will listen to you and help you to find the right project and work with you to develop a support plan.
We will treat you with respect as you develop your skills through real-life activities and support you in developing in your area of choice.
Joining Pembrokeshire FRAME and working as part of a team means that you will see all kinds of benefits, from increased confidence and practical skills to improved communication skills, which come from being motivated and having others rely on you.
Once you have submitted an application form you will be contacted by our Support Worker to:
• Discuss your application.
• Let you know about how our support programmes and individual personal development plans work.
• Discuss any health considerations.
• Discuss Terms and Conditions
To help you make the best choice of project, you can come and meet us for a chat and a project visit or take a tour of projects that you are interested in. We can also offer a free taster session in your chosen project to help you to decide if the project is right for you. Take a look at our projects to see what we have to offer.
Subject to suitability, a placement will then be offered, and a start date arranged.
When you join us as a Pembrokeshire FRAME participant, you will receive a Health and Safety induction for the projects you attend. You will be shown how to use tools and equipment as well as how to lift and move things safely. Fire safety awareness will also form part of this. Relevant safety equipment is provided for all projects. If you choose to work on one of our surplus food or catering projects, you will also receive food hygiene awareness training. If you attend our eCommerce project, you will be shown how to use computers, social media and the internet safely and correctly.
Participants are all given an induction into their chosen project during their first or second week. This is linked to their support schedule and introduces them to project procedures and safe use of any tools and machinery.
