A charity built around people, reuse and opportunity
Pembrokeshire FRAME supports people who may be facing barriers such as disability, poor mental health, social isolation, poverty, low confidence, illness or a lack of access to work and learning opportunities.
We provide a supportive environment where people can take part in volunteering, training, social enterprise and meaningful occupation at a pace that works for them.
At the same time, our reuse work helps local households access affordable furniture and household items, while reducing waste and supporting a more sustainable Pembrokeshire.

Supporting people to recognise their own potential
Many people come to FRAME at a point where confidence, health, isolation, poverty or life circumstances have made it harder to take the next step. Our role is to help people feel welcomed, supported and able to contribute.
We recognise that everyone’s needs, strengths and goals are different. Through person-centred support, practical learning and meaningful activity, we help people build confidence, develop skills and feel part of something positive.
FRAME is not just about furniture. It is about people finding purpose, routine, friendship, skills and confidence through meaningful reuse work.
How reuse supports our charitable work
FRAME’s model brings together charity, social enterprise and environmental action. Our commercial reuse activities help support and sustain our charitable programmes, while giving people practical, real-world opportunities to learn and contribute.
Collect and sort
Donated furniture, household goods and materials are collected, checked, sorted and prepared for reuse wherever possible.
Repair and upcycle
Items can be cleaned, repaired, upcycled, reupholstered or given a new purpose through our workshop and social enterprise activities.
Sell and support
Reused goods are sold through our shops and online activity, helping fund our work and provide affordable items for local people.

Today, FRAME operates from Merlin’s Bridge and Pembroke Dock, with reuse shops, supported activities, volunteering opportunities and practical projects across a range of departments.
Our work includes furniture reuse, clothing, bric-a-brac, eCommerce, gardening, upcycling, re-upholstery, woodwork, customer service, administration, collection and delivery, community workshops and room hire.

From small beginnings to a county-wide impact
FRAME begins in Merlin’s Bridge
FRAME started from humble beginnings in a small Matron’s bungalow in Merlin’s Bridge, with a focus on creating opportunities for people through practical, meaningful activity.
Reuse, retail and social enterprise
Over time, FRAME developed reuse showrooms, practical projects and social enterprise activity, creating more opportunities for people while helping more items avoid waste.
Two sites, many opportunities
FRAME now works across Merlin’s Bridge and Pembroke Dock, supporting people, selling reused goods, offering volunteering and supported placements, and developing services that benefit the wider community.
