Pembrokeshire FRAME is a local charity and social enterprise based in Pembrokeshire. We support people through volunteering, training, supported placements and meaningful occupation, while also promoting reuse, recycling and affordable access to household items.

FRAME combines social support with environmental action. Our work includes reuse shops, furniture donations and collections, volunteering, supported placements, furniture upcycling, upholstery, woodwork, gardening, eCommerce, community workshops, bulky waste collections and ethical house clearances.

FRAME helps reduce waste by encouraging reuse, repair, recycling and upcycling. Donated furniture and household items are given the chance of a second life wherever possible, helping keep useful items in circulation and reducing what goes to waste.

FRAME provides meaningful volunteering, supported opportunities, training and work experience. We also support people facing hardship by offering affordable reused household items and, where suitable referrals are made, help through furniture crisis support.

You can donate suitable items by bringing them to one of our shops during opening hours, or by requesting a furniture collection for larger items.

We welcome clean, complete and reusable furniture, household goods, bric-a-brac, clothing, books, toys and other suitable donations.

Larger furniture items should be in good reusable condition. Upholstered items usually need a valid fire label. If you are unsure, please contact us before donating.

No. Please only bring donations during opening hours or when a collection has been arranged. Items left outside can become damaged, unsafe or unusable, and this creates extra cost and pressure for the charity.

Yes, we can collect suitable larger items where possible. Please complete the collection request form and include clear details about the items you would like to donate.

Yes. If you are a UK taxpayer, signing up for Gift Aid can help FRAME raise more from eligible donated items at no extra cost to you. Please ask a member of staff in store.

FRAME has shops at Merlin’s Bridge in Haverfordwest and at St Govan’s Shopping Centre in Pembroke Dock.

You can buy a wide range of reused furniture, household goods, clothing, books, toys, bric-a-brac and other items. We also stock selected new beds and mattresses.

Yes. Selected items are available through our online sales, including our eBay shop.

Delivery may be available for larger items depending on location, staff availability and the item being purchased. Please ask in store for current delivery options and costs.

FRAME offers support to people experiencing hardship where possible. We may also provide help through referral routes for people in crisis situations. Please speak to a member of staff or contact us for guidance.

Bulky waste collections are arranged through Pembrokeshire County Council’s My Account service. Once your request has been submitted and passed to FRAME, we will contact you to arrange collection details.

Items should only be placed outside when FRAME has instructed you to do so.

The current charge is £25 for 1–5 items and £5 for every additional item. A 3-piece suite counts as three items, and a table with four chairs counts as five items.

Payment is made in advance through the council booking process.

No. Items that require more than two people to move cannot currently be collected. This includes very heavy items such as pianos.

Yes. FRAME Direct offers ethical house clearances, helping clear properties responsibly while prioritising reuse wherever possible.

Yes. The Green Room is available for meetings, training, workshops, support groups, small events and community activities. Room 4 is also available as a smaller room option.

Yes. Volunteers are central to FRAME’s work. Roles can include retail support, sorting donations, bric-a-brac, online sales, gardening, furniture projects, woodwork, administration, customer service and more.

Yes. FRAME offers supported placements and meaningful occupation for people who may benefit from structure, routine, skill-building, confidence and a supportive environment.

Yes. People can gain practical experience across a range of areas including retail, customer service, administration, eCommerce, furniture upcycling, re-upholstery, gardening, cooking, woodwork, sorting, collections and delivery.
