About the role

A varied and rewarding community support role

This role sits within Pembrokeshire FRAME’s Community Fuel Guidance Team, a community-focused team supporting people experiencing fuel poverty across Pembrokeshire.

Working alongside a small and dedicated team, the Community Support Officer will help ensure the service runs efficiently while supporting direct work with clients.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong administrative skills with meaningful, community-based work.

  • Hours: 22.5 hours per week
  • Rate: £12.71 per hour
  • Contract: Fixed two-year contract, dependent on continued funding

What the role involves

Key responsibilities

The role supports the existing team in all aspects of the project, with particular emphasis on managing enquiries and supporting the reporting of key project metrics.

Client contact

Acting as a welcoming first point of contact for clients via phone and email, and helping coordinate appointments.

Administration

Maintaining accurate records, supporting bookings, assisting with applications and providing general admin support.

Reporting and impact

Collating data and assisting with reports to help demonstrate project outcomes and impact.

About you

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is friendly, empathetic and confident speaking with a wide range of people.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident using the phone and communicating clearly
  • Comfortable working with data
  • Able to work independently while being part of a small supportive team
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of a busy and growing service
  • Experience using a CRM system such as HubSpot or similar would be useful, although training will be provided
