The FRAME Furniture Surgery is an exciting new project made possible by funding from WCVA and The Landfill Tax Community Fund as part of our Green Shed Re-users Project. It is our aim at The FRAME Furniture Surgery to make re-upholstery accessible to everyone whilst helping to reduce waste. This project commenced in October 2020 and we have started to develop our workshop supporting participants with reupholstery projects. We are also planning a range of workshop sessions for members of the community to get involved in small re-upholstery projects. As part of the project we will be providing a local furniture repair and revive service to the local community, more details will follow soon.
Plans are being developed to introduce re-upholstery workshop spaces at Merlin’s Bridge and at Pembroke Dock with classrooms, a range of state of the art sewing machines, fully equipped Pembrokeshire FRAME-making workshops, individual private workshops and an experienced support team.
Please help us to kit out our new Pembrokeshire FRAME Furniture Surgery with re-upholstery equipment and tools for our participants and workshop attendees to use.
Target: £15,000.00
